The COLLEGE OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE EDUCATION recently conducted its annual SOLIDARITY & RECOGNITION NIGHT with this year’s theme “SPARKLE, SPIN, SHINE” on December 21, 2024 at the Caloocan Sports Complex.
It is a two-part event composed of a testimonial activity to recognize graduates of the institution who successfully hurdled the Criminologist Licensure Examination, NAPOLCOM Examination and the Civil Service Examination, as well as students who academically excelled in the preceding academic year and the conduct of the annual Solidarity- Christmas celebration of the CCJE. In addition, the CCJE recognizes its faculty members who have achieved/reached their 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30 years of service in the College.
The program commenced with the Entrance of Colors by the UCC ROTC Unit, followed by a prayer and the singing of the National Anthem, the Caloocan Hymn, and the Bagong Pilipinas Hymn. The welcome remarks were delivered by the Dean, Atty. Dexter B. Calizar, followed by a short message delivered by the ASLEA South Adviser, Prof. Joseph R. Estrada. It continued with the Awarding of Pins to the Academic Achievers of the AY 2023-2024, followed by the Awarding of Plaque of Appreciation for the Faculty Service Awardee, Prof. John Nicklaus Junio; the plaque was received by Prof. Estrada in honor of Prof. Junio. It further continued with the recognition of the passers from the abovementioned examinations.
The CCJE annually conducts this celebration to acknowledge the exemplary achievement by the institution’s graduates and to inspire the incoming batch of examinees to give their best in the culmination of their academic journey. The second part aims to foster camaraderie, friendship & belongingness among the CCJE community. The event is also an occasion to extend the College’s simple yet memorable token of appreciation to the real heroes of the academic institution.
