The University of Caloocan City officially partners with the Tzu Chi Foundation Philippines through the Signing of Memorandum of Agreement. This collaboration unites UCC officials, representatives from the Tzu Chi Foundation, and partner Local Colleges and Universities’ representatives in a shared mission—to uplift the lives of deserving students through this scholarship opportunity.
In this collaboration, more learners will be empowered to pursue their academic aspirations without the burden of other educational expenses. Inspired by the testimony of Sis. Ailyn Tambong, a proud UCC graduate and former Tzu Chi scholar, the university reaffirms its dedication to transforming lives through education.
With the leadership of the Chairman of the Board of Regents, Hon. Dale Gonzalo Malapitan, and the support of University officials led by Officer-in-Charge Atty. Jared Nas, together with the Vice President for Student Affairs and Services, Dr. Rodrigo M. Dantay, Jr., and Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Wenald H. Lopez who attended the event and expressed their strong support, UCC continues to enhance its scholarship programs and student services, ensuring that no student is left behind in the pursuit of inexpensive quality education.
Special recognition is also extended to Engr. Robert Torrecampo, Scholarship Director under the Office of the Student Affairs and Services, whose dedication and efforts have been instrumental in making this meaningful partnership possible.
University of Caloocan City extends its sincere appreciation to the Tzu Chi Foundation Philippines and to their Chief Executive Officer Bro. Henry C. Yuñez, for their generosity and commitment to advancing education and humanitarian service.
UCC and Tzu Chi Foundation Philippines are one in their collective dedication to nurturing hope, compassion, and opportunity for every aspiring UCCian.
