The University of Caloocan City (UCC) is poised to elevate its educational infrastructure through a generous donation from the Caloocan City Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce (CCFCCC). This initiative will equip both the Main and Congressional Extension Campuses with innovative Audio-Visual Laboratories, significantly improving the university's ability to provide modern and interactive learning experiences.

The donation includes essential items such as projectors or TVs, computer sets, air-conditioning units, audio speakers, and a monthly subscription to high-speed fiber internet. These resources will be invaluable in supporting online classes, particularly benefiting students in the College of Education by fostering a more engaging and technologically advanced learning environment.

In preparation for this significant project, UCC President Dr. Marilyn T. De Jesus and College of Education Dean Dr. Ramona Prado recently hosted representatives from the CCFCCC for an on-site inspection of the facilities. This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to improving the quality of education in Caloocan City and demonstrates the impact of partnerships between academic institutions and the business sector in shaping the future of local students.

Notable guests from the CCFCCC are Mr. Kevin Tacderas, Vice President and Member of the UCC Board of Regents; Mr. Brian Lim, Vice President; Mr. Theo Lester Tan, Director; and Ms. Susan Chang, Secretary.

This partnership highlights the CCFCCC’s dedication to fostering educational growth, ensuring that UCC students have access to the tools and technologies necessary to thrive in today’s increasingly digital world.
